The future is mobile. The mHealth market is projected to boom to $49.1 billion in 2020. Wearables such as Google Glass and FitBit are proliferating exponentially. The potential to improve patient engagement and care and reduce costs is tremendous. This panel will provide a high-level examination of our mobile future. A group of digital experts, health technology leaders and providers, led by Scott Kirsner from The Boston Globe, will consider the impacts on practice; highlight gaps and opportunities and offer a sneak peek at the role of mobile in hospitals and clinics in the year 2020.
